An installation of boats made from sticks and paper pulp with projection on the sails, from the exhibition Berbagi at Sunshine Coast University Gallery in 2012. The work results from a working trip to Bali in 2011 and makes reference to the nature of perception and how we make our own culturally dependent versions of reality: Western dreams of sailing off into the dream, holiday place versus the reality of life for the Balinese people.
