The landscpae is stunning, the silence and space overwhelming, the charm, knowledge and helpfulness of the hosts legendary. Work from this trip was shown in 'West of Winton' at The Atrium Gallery, Budderim and 'Booked Out' Cooloola Regional Gallery 2003 , but more importantly the trip was the beginning of my love affair with far Western Queensland, especially Winton, which is one of my favourite places in the world.
