Virtual Reality Artworks
I am also known as Juanita Deharo, an artist who works in virtual reality and across the boundaries between the real and the virtual. The two worlds often collide in projects that that cross the boundaries such as Virtual Treeline and in my projection works that use machinima from virtual worlds to create new realities on large and small scale structures and environments in the physical world.

I have used my skills in constructing virtual reality enviroments have also been used in several physical world projects with community involvment and environmental objectives.
The machinima 'Underwater' produced 2010 as part of a larger project lookingat alternate ways of packaging and publishing information, documented a virtual underwater world made up from 3D building and images from real life reefs on the coast near my home in Queensland, Australia. The video was produced as an education and promotion tool for the Noosa Integrated catchment Association in their bid to have the area declared a marine reserve.
The Treeline residencies in 2012 offered high school students a chance to work with me to use virtual reality develop a garden of the mind. The resulting sim 'Imagination' was the subject of a 25 minute mchinima shown as part of the
